The 2900 Merlot from Jerusalem Vineyard Winery is grown in the Shomron and on the coastal plain, named for the Hebrew year King David made Jerusalem his capital. Mevushal and naki from concerns of orla, tevel, and shviit.

Tasting notes
Forest fruit and tobacco on a deep, rich red-fruit nose. Ample fruit with elegant tannins and a solid Merlot core. Smooth and lingering with a soft tobacco-leaf edge.
Pairing
All cuts of grilled and roast meat; serve at 60-64F. Strong with cholent, brisket, or a steak frites Friday night.
