Adir's Kerem Ben Zimra Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, cool-climate white from the high-altitude vineyard the Rosenberg family farms in Israel's Upper Galilee. Mevushal for versatility, still fresh and grassy in the glass. This is the twelve-bottle case — the way to keep it in the fridge through summer.

Mood: Crisp, grassy, refreshing.

Sommelier

"A textbook Upper Galilee Sauvignon Blanc — grapefruit, cut grass and just enough tropical lift, all held together by real high-altitude acidity. The case is how you get through a hot summer of Shabbos lunches without running out."

Tasting notes

Fresh grapefruit, cut grass and green apple on the nose, with a whisper of passionfruit lifting behind. Crisp and dry on the palate — citrus and orchard fruit up front, a grassy herbaceous edge through the middle, clean minerality underneath. Medium finish with lingering grapefruit and a clean, mineral lift.

Food pairing

Gefilte fish, grilled salmon, herby summer salads, kiddush cheeses, or lemon-brightened chicken. Also lovely on its own on a hot Shabbos afternoon.
